Centre History

The Christian Adventure Centre at Viney Hill had its beginning more than 30 years ago when the orchard at the Vicarage was used by visiting groups of young people as the ideal venue for a weekend of adventure.  From these humble beginnings the centre has grown and developed over the years into a fully fledged camping and residential activity centre with groups visiting from all over the country, from a wide range of backgrounds including children and young people from schools and colleges, church groups, social projects, and various uniformed groups such as scouts and guides.

We are a registered charitable trust operating as a 'not for profit' company.  We provide challenge and adventure to a wide range of groups.

Now more than ever, we are aware of the privilege of sharing our beautiful forest surroundings with the groups that visit us, and remain amazed at the difference that it can make in the lives of young people.  We are very excited about providing you with awesome opportunities to have experiences otherwise unknown, face challenges and overcome fears surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation.
