Accommodation

We can offer three very different styles of accommodation.

Resedential accommodation            cross meadows camping            Wild camping

The Old Vicarage is a small piece of local history, as it was built around the 1860's to house the vicar and his family who looked after the local parish church.  It is a three storey Victorian building which has been converted to accommodate up to 42. All bedding is supplied, and we take particular care to make your group as comfortable as possible by preparing the required beds prior to your arrival.  When you book with us we will send you a floor plan so you can let us know before you arrive which rooms you wish to use and how many beds you need made up in each.  Cross Meadows is our main camping area, the site accommodating up to 70.  A fairly recent development were our two 'timber tents'.  These are basic wooden cabin structures that sleep 6-7, the rest of the accommodation is canvas.  We provide accommodation for up to 60, if you are bringing more than that you will need to provide your own tents. You will also need to bring all your own bedding if you are camping.  Facilities include the camping centre building, with a kitchen, lounge and dining area, plus showers/toilets with access for both able bodied and disabled visitors.   New this year is the  Wild Camp area for 20 people, which is a great experience for those looking for a more basic, outdoor experience.
