Water
Canadian Canoeing
Challenge and enjoyment for groups of all ages and abilities, with 2 or 3 in each boat. Basic training on capsize drill and paddle techniques is given and various games are played once participants are familiar with their canoes. The sessions take place on local lakes the most scenic of which is only ten minutes drive from the Centre in the heart of the Forest. But book early for this one to avoid disappointment, as bookings are made through the Forestry Commission on a 'first come, first served' basis. We are able to give basic coaching to advance your skills.
