Schools and Colleges

"We are so happy we are coming back. The children say it is the best trip ever.

We were especially impressed by the pastoral input,

the management of individuals and their needs.  Many thanks."

Mr I Doswell, Deputy Head St Georges Primary, Weston Super Mare.

We welcome schools  and colleges of all backgrounds and ages.

Schools on a outward bound residential

Over the past 10 years we have seen an increasing number of schools and colleges coming to us from year four to years 12 and 13 (sixth form), and feedback shows they have enjoyed a fabulous residential experience. In recent years our relationship with these schools has grown and many of the schools return year after year.

We believe we can offer you a unique residential activity experience, and are available to discuss with you how we can help you put together a great programme appropriate to your group. We can also advise on local attractions you can visit as part of your stay. Have a look at the accommodation we have to offer; whether you choose to camp or stay in our indoor accommodation we give you exclusive use of the part of the site you book, which is of obvious benefit to your child protection policies.  When you have considered accommodation possibilities check out the activities on offer.  Our activities include high quality and safe instruction with leaders who are all highly qualified with the appropriate governing body. The Centre itself and the relevant activities are inspected by AALA on a regular basis, the last inspection being in May 2008. If you would like to discuss your groups needs, please ring on 01594 516162.

We welcome staff members to visit the site before bringing a group here, and we are happy to give you a guided tour of the site and grounds.  Many group leaders have found this advantageous when planning their stay.  Also members of the Centre staff would be happy to travel to your school or college to meet with students and/or parents to discuss the Centre and its facilities with them.

We are sure we can offer your group a memorable and beneficial adventure experience in the stunning surroundings of the Forest of Dean.

"The residential gives young people the space to think about themselves, their behaviour and their education"
